What's Animal Farm?
This past week we read the first chapter of Animal Farm in our class. The story is mainly about animals in a farm that hate their leader and want to do something about it. We learned that the leader of the animals was a domesticated boar named Old Major. He wanted everyone to support him in the idea of revolting. The followers were a raven, 3 horses, 3 pigs and a cat. We also know that the farmer, Mr Jones, is a heavy alcoholic drinker. The idea of this story is closely related to the russian revolution. Sadly three days later after his inspiring speech, Old Major dies peacefully in his sleep. This story reminds me of the revolutions that have happen in history such as the American Revolution. It ties with the fact that Britain treats us in a negative manner. Same thing in the animals from the story. What will happen next, well we will find out while we read chapter 2.

What Makes Someone Powerful?
What makes someone powerful? Is it the money? Is it their house? Their clothing? For one reason, they got powerful in some sort of way. There are millions of reasons to this cause and only one is convincing enough. I want to take the example of the President Of The United States. How did he get there? Why did he want to be there? One reason might be that he wants to feel important and powerful, and what other way to do it than being leader of a big country. The country is under his own hands. Another reason might be that they did something to become powerful. Some people make inventions, discover ideas, and others win awards. On clue might be the invention of computer software. Bill Gates runs microsoft and is the richest man on the face of this earth. Now he makes millions a day just for one simple invention. In conclusion a person becomes powerful through actions they take.

A girl and a guy just splitted apart after months of a good relationship. She has had it with this place, this town and everything in it. Now she wants to go forward and find someone new. She meets a lovely man online. Just one problem, that man lives thousands of miles away from her. She doesn't think and decides to run away from her home and try to meet this man. While some argue children run away from their homes because of cruelty, abuse and bad choices, the most important reason leading to running away is the people they meet on the internet and the ideas they get from them.
Of course this is not the only reason people run away. There are several of reasons and situations leading to running away. Some to name are because of abuse, cruelty, devotion to a gang, bad choices and several others. Children might say that they have their reasons for running away. Small kids might have threaten to run away because they didn't get what hey want or things didnt go their way. One example might be that they might yell out "I'm Running Away And I'm Never Coming Back!!" Statistics say that in the past decade mostly ran away because of assault and sexual abuse. Most of the runaways were girls. They also run away due to early teen pregnancy. When they get pregnant, girls decide they are old enough to be adults and make a really bad decision. Now they get kicked out of the house and are forced to live on their own. Some street wanderers want to make good cash and go into illegal prostitution. Maybe they do drugs. Teens get kicked out of their houses for drug abuse and their parents don't want any of it. They don't want trouble with the law because of what their kid is doing. So the teens have no choice but to run away. They could have avoided it by doing a right choice.
Drugs, abuse, and bad choices may be a good reason but none leads to running away like love and luring over the internet. They are looking on facebook, myspace, etc. They find a good man and want to meet them so bad. When you tell that to someone you're thinking in your head that they're totally insane. But shockingly people still do that. Parents of course say no to this kind of thing and the girl of course does it anyways because the man she met is nice, smart, a gentlemen or some other reason. They go to places that people don't know. They might travel to a different country and the parents don't even know it. All for love that might not even be real.
In conclusion, running way has its reasons. Several of those reasons are good but they really dont match up to love and the internet.

New Procesing Plants Vs The Community
As you may or may not have heard there will be a new proccesing plant opening in the QCA in a short time. This plant will process pigs and people in the community have ways of disagreeing with the city. This will open new jobs as well hurting the air around us. People say this will make the community and the city worse with the smell, land taken and animal carcases all over the area. Some people are for this as well. This will boost jobs and meat production. You can probably tell that 2 groups will fight for each others side. I for one disagree with the opening of this plant. I believe we do need a factory around here but not so close to the city. I think my idea can work and there are other ideas too.

Judaism: A World Religion
Judaism. What Is It?
Have you wondered about the world outside of your religion? Have you seen people from a religion that you probably don't know about? Well I did so I took matters into my own hands and started a proj
ect on a relig
ion I didn't really know about. I also wanted t
o learn a couple of things so my project is on Judaism. I this you will read about
their culture, customs, worships and ideas that a follower of Judaism might have.
Founders and Beliefs.
Judaism was founded in 1300 B.C. in Me
sopotamia by Abraham(As Seen On The Picture To The Left). Abrah
am was believed to be the ancestor of the Jewish People. Starting with Abraham God took special c
are of the Hebrews(now known as the Jews). To this day anyone can become Jewish. There isn't any customs or sacraments that you have to do in order to become a Judah.
Holy/Sacred Texts.
The Jews have wide series of books that they read and follow. Most Jews read
The Talmud and The Torah(Below). Both these book describe the early days
of Judaism and stories of Abraham and other well known Jews. These books also describe the famous events that occurred during the first years of Judaism.
Customs and Religious Holidays.
Of course each religion has to have it's celebration or time of happiness. Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah are one of the major religions the Jewish Religion Celebrate. Hanukkah is the most known. During Hanu
kkah people celebrate the miracle that happened over 2 thousand years ago. The Greek ruler Antiochus IV tried to force his army into Judea(now known as Israel). At this time the people of Judea went to the final battles and reclaimed the temple of worship on Mt. Moriah. As they wanted to "Rededicate" the temple they found out that the oil on the candle would only last one day. Miraculously the oil lasted eight days. As the tradition got started Jews to this day light the Menorah each and every Hanukkah.
Dressing And Customs
Both men and women are expected to behave and dress formally. Although at some occasions men will wear the black suit and long hat whenever they go out(Left). Have you heard of a Bar
Mitzvah? Thats the entering of Adulthood for a young man. A girl is similar and called a Bat Mitzvah. Now have you seen the ritual of Breaking Of The Glass At Jewish Weddings? Well to support it have several reasons. One is that the noise is supposed to scare away evil spirits. Another one is to remind the Jews of the destructions of the temples in Jerusalem.
Followers And Worshiping Faiths
To this day Judaism is a commonly practiced religion. 1.3 Billion people call this religion their life. Of those people, some are elected as Chief Rabis. Each Synagogue has to elect one leader, president and council.
To Shorten
As you now know what this religion is, I hope that you understand what you are looking at. Next time you see a Rabi you will know what it feels like.

Does Co-Existence Get Harder And Harder In Sports?
Has anyone realized how hard it is to get along with someone? It shouldn't be. Why start a conflict with anyone? Why start a conflict at all. Get on this web site to see what's going wrong. Understand that everyone has a different opinion in their minds and might not see what you see. Try your best to avoid any conflict. Sports are my examples. Teams always face conflicts and issues but they find the problem. How you ask? Well I'll show you. Usually the first step is to see what caused the conflict or what happened first.

The Relations
Have you had some issues with other players on your teams? Or have you gotten into a fight with a teammate for a weird reason? Well I found a site that will probably solve these questions and other issues that will make relationships easier. A couple of things i saw on the site is that conflicts will happen in life but you need to be ready for it. For example you get into a fight with a teammate because he is a ball hog. The site has tips to resolve the problem in a calm smooth manner. A really good tip that I liked was that every conflict doesn't have to end with violence. Each problem has a resolution to its cause. Sports can be a pain. Blamimg is the most common one. Your team loses, "its your fault! Why cant you hit the dang ball!?" Sound faliliar? I bet it does. In this case the particular person might wanted to keep its mouth shut. Now that he has a teammate stirred he should have thought about what he was going to say. For now keep reading, comment and follow along. This was JC5- My Mind On Sports.
